1. What This Website Is

Vermilion Parish Criminal History is a privately maintained reference website with no connection to a government office. It does not keep official records, conduct official background checks, retrieve files on a visitor's behalf, or submit documents for users.

The website directs readers to the custodians of Vermilion Parish criminal records, including the sheriff, criminal courts, the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Criminal Identification and Information, and the Louisiana State Sex Offender and Child Predator Registry. It may also connect visitors to outside research tools. Public access to government records remains governed by the Louisiana Public Records Law, R.S. 44:1 et seq., while repository dissemination is limited by laws including R.S. 15:579 and R.S. 15:587.

This website is not a consumer reporting agency for purposes of the FCRA. It produces no credit reports, background checks, or consumer reports. Neither the site nor its advertising partners offer services designed to evaluate job candidates, rental applicants, insurance risk, or creditworthiness. You agree that site information and linked tools will not be used to:
